Our Values

Our Team is committed to being honest, ethical, and trustworthy.

Our Team is receptive to new ideas, new people, and new perspectives.

Continuous Improvement
This applies to every aspect of our business, our product, and our team.
We are accountable to our customers, partners, and to one another.

We have a collaborative environment. We work together with customers, suppliers, and associates to improve products, services, and processes.

Valqari offers a comprehensive solution to all of the key areas of risk associated with drone delivery in one platform. Our Smart Drone Delivery Mailbox will be the step that allows customers to fully automate their process from delivery through the last mile. By having a sensor-equipped, fully autonomous landing pad receptacle, we can ensure that drone delivery will be a smooth and effortless convenience of modern life. A platform which can rest in a window, or stand-alone mailbox, will allow the drone to land and release the package into a secured and lockable device, preventing theft or damage to the items delivered.  All of the features are controlled by a convenient and easy to use app.
As long as there is a human component in the delivery chain, risks and liabilities increase exponentially closely followed by inflated costs. Our Smart Drone Delivery Mailbox will allow for the last mile delivery process to be entirely automated. The complete automation of drone delivery will greatly reduce costs and increase the convenience for the consumers, businesses and distributors. Every retailer, restaurant or delivery company will need to deliver to a Valqari Drone Delivery Mailbox if they wish to provide safe and secure drone deliveries.

Team Valqari

Ryan Walsh Valqari CEO

Chief Executive Officer & president

Ryan Walsh

Ryan is a US Army Veteran, a serial entrepreneur, and inventor. He served three tours of duty in Iraq and Afghanistan with the 75th Ranger Regiment. He knows how to lead a team in adverse conditions with limited resources. When Ryan transitioned back to civilian life, he immediately began pursuing new challenges, including starting a company. With $40,000 of his own money, he put it into his Fashion and Apparel companies that now generate millions of dollars each year. His companies have
succeeded by providing top quality that customers trust because his customers always come first. This has attracted not only Chicagoland’s masses but also major entertainers. From pro baseball players to billboard topping musicians. His management style has been key in attracting and keeping quality talent. He finds employees that are groomable for advancement
in the company long term as he believes his team is his biggest asset in anything he does. Ryan has no formal training as an engineer but he uses his free time to teach himself things like orbital mechanics, so he could design cost-effective satellite systems for fun. In 2013, Ryan launched Blacknight Holdings with his business partner Alex Falesch. They decided to combine
their talents to develop important projects they had both been working on. Ryan and Alex envisioned the need for a Smart Drone Delivery Mailbox and worked for 4 years developing and patenting their Smart Drone Delivery Mailbox. After 3 years of research and development with Alex, Ryan began assembling the team that would become Valqari. He recognizes the success
of any mission requires a team who excels in their field, is adaptable, and each member has unwavering trust in one another. Valqari is now moving full-steam ahead under his leadership. Ryan has an MBA in Management from North Central College and BS in Economics from Northeastern Illinois University.

For several years he served as Ryan Walsh’s second in command for their Fashion and Apparel companies before eventually taking the role of CEO in 2016. Alex and Ryan have worked closely together developing and patenting inventions through their company Blacknight Holdings since 2013. Alex is a co-inventor and lead designer of Valqari’s Smart Drone Delivery Mailbox. Alex also co-founded the Nonprofit Artists for Awareness, Inc. which serves to provide art therapy resources to veterans and at risk youth.

Ron Lazarus Valqari COO

Chief Operating Officer

Ron Lazarus

COO- Ron has led several successful businesses over the last 35 years. From 1984-1998 he was the VP of Sales and Marketing at Firex, a smoke alarm manufacturer. Ron grew Firex’s market share from 10%-75% during that time period. Firex’s massive growth attracted an acquisition by Coleman. Two years after the Coleman acquisition, Ron led the sales growth from $60M to $100M. Conglomerate Invensys would later acquire the Firex unit from Coleman. About a year after the Invensys acquisition a small competitor called Universal Security Instruments head-hunted Ron and convinced him to serve as their President. Ron convinced Home Depot to kick Firex off their shelves and replace them with USI products. In just one year that increased USI’s sales by $13
million. Ron was instrumental in developing new products by leading engineering teams that brought major innovations to smoke and carbon monoxide alarm industry. He has extensive experience in international sales & manufacturing operations. Ron served on the Board of Eyston, a manufacturer partner in China from 2003-2016. Ryan Lazarus Valqari CMO

Chief Marketing Officer

Ryan Lazarus

Ryan is a film school dropout turned serial entrepreneur. He dropped out in his last semester to co-found Effioa Capital at age 22, building infrastructure projects in rural India. Ryan focus has been in business development and fundraising. His company built cellular towers for India’s biggest service providers like Vodafone, Tata, and Idea. Before the cell tower market became saturated, Effioa shifted their focus to water and energy projects. Effioa executed multiple contracts from the government of Bihar (one of India's poorest and toughest states to do business in) to build large water holding tanks, pumping stations, and pipe networks. Effioa partnered with Husk Power Systems, a leader in clean rural electrification. Effioa helped them build their initial prototypes and secure government contracts. HPS received the Ashden Award in 2011, which is presented by Prince Charles as the top company in clean energy. HPS would later go on to be part of President Obama’s Power Africa Initiative. In 2012, Effioa established the largest privately-owned mint farm in India. This was the first farm in the area of to use modern farm equipment. Effioa leased out this equipment to other farmers in the area and taught them proper techniques. Soon after establishing the farm, Effioa launched an agro commodity fund, trading mint oil and chickpeas. In 2015, Ryan launched Windo Global Partners, a consulting firm that helps small US companies expand to India and assist Indian companies expanding to the US. Ryan also works with companies and individuals to tell their stories. This includes everything from building pitch materials for brands or collaborating with authors who want to turn their books into a TV show. Ryan is a Board member for Ryan Banks Academy, Chicago’s first boarding school for underprivileged youth.
